Overview : This sessions emphasized on what is a project and the 3 key aspects of a project, that is time management I task management, I expectation management. Since we know that the schools have moved towards project-based learning for students to gain practical exposure so that they can connect their learning to the reality it becomes necessary for students to understand what does a project include to successfully manage a project. Every project that we undertake has a start date or end date or let us say what every task we take up that has a start and end date is termed as a project, be it you school academic year/syllabus a new skill you learn, the tasks that you do in a day right from waking up to going to bed. Any project we undertake has 3 key factors we need to manage 1.Time Management -The time frame to complete specific tasks in a project to meet the end goal I 2.Task Management - The different activities / steps / process to complete a project I Expectation Management - Refers to the desired result one would want to have at the end of the project and this depends on the how the time and tasks are managed. Learning the art to manage this factors will enable you to become successful project managers and help you work on any project effectively and efficiently. Watch /Listen to the session dated 13th Feb 2024 by clicking here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EItTs8Mae-8 Topic : Giving your best and Learning from every result is the key to success. Overview : This session focused on the importance for us to give our best as how learning from every result will help us gain the experience to learn, grow and be successful. It is important for students to give their best in whatever they are doing and learn from every result be it success or failures because these are stepping stones for us to self-evaluate and analyze where we stand in terms of what is working for us and what did not work for us and where we need to improve .Usually, we tend to see failure as a negativity but on the brighter side it teaches you to prepare ourselves for any outcomes tactfully if you chalk out what did not work and where you need to correct, it enables you to keep trying till to find your success, reflecting to this point when Sir Thomas Alva Edison who founded the first electric light bulb was asked by a reporter that how many attempts were made for him to bring to life the first electric light bulb, he said 10,000 times/attempts, so the report question back saying that then you failed 9999 time ? Sir Thomas Alva Edison responded saying that I did not fail 9999 times I found 9999 ways why it won't work .We should understand that failure is not a setback, but rather an opportunity for us to learn and grow. Hence learning for every result is the key to success, we should first learn to accept the results be it positive or negative by questioning our self if we have given our best in what we have attempted, and if the results are positive we need to see what worked so that we can do still more better and if the result was not favorable we need to analyze what did not work and take corrective actions.
